Discover the fascinating world of bats as they emerge from their roosts at dusk. We will listen to their echolocation calls using ultrasonic bat detectors and identify a variety of bat species.

About the Event
Join Emily for a walk at dusk to discover the bats of Chichester. Location point will be emailed separately. Using handheld bat detectors, we'll hear them echolocation to catch insects as well as learn about bat ecology, lifecycle, conservation and behaviour.As the light fades, bats leave their roosts and hunt for moths, mosquitoes and midges 🦇🦟
Suitable for older children, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Sturdy boots, torch with a red light (red lights are kinder for bats - bike lights are great for this!) and warm clothing.What to bring:
