Detection at the Clubhouse

Search the dining rooms, bar area, changing rooms and sports equipment sheds of this varied venue. Lots of funky smells! This workshop is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to advanced.

We will focus on handler body language - how body position can affect your dog's search especially indoors where search spaces can be tighter, and when to step in and help your dog - only if and when you need to. If you're new to scentwork, this workshop will introduce you to real-life search scenarios and build your dogs confidence to hunt for treats or their favourite toy (or both!) in a new environment.

Sorry this venue is a little pricier which makes it £45 per handler space, but it is a great venue! Dogs work individually so this is perfect for nervous/reactive dogs*.

*Please be aware that although the search areas are not public access, the adjacent playing fields are public. There may be the occasional dog walker passing by but I'll do my best by putting up signage asking people to not disturb our dogs.
