About the Event
Set in a beautiful meadow, this workshop will bring out the wild side to your searches!
We can work on growing your dog's independence as well as building your confidence to handle a large, open area search and calling an area clear. This is a fun alternative to the usual style of scentwork you might be used to and is a good taster for those with an interest in seeing what conservation detection dogs are all about. (Experienced dogs welcome - we have 2-acres to play with 😉)
Suitable for all abilities. Rural environment with lots of distractions please bear in mind. Dogs do not need to be searching for a specific odour, we can use toys/food if they are a beginner or a puppy. Dogs can work on or off line. I can put out clove, gun oil, or if you would like to search for something different that's fine, bring it with you.
£45 per handler place.
Dogs work individually so this is fine for nervous/reactive dogs.
Important details for the venue parking and directions will be sent in the confirmation email once you have booked on. Please let me know if you do not recieve this email. (Check junk mail just in case!)
